Due to high demand, the Eurostar will drive a third train from Amsterdam/Rotterdam to London from June 2019. More travelers now prefer the train to the plane. This saves more than 7,000 tons of CO2. Eurostar aims for 5 trains a day.
In 2020 the Eurostar will also run directly from Amsterdam/Rotterdam. It is expected that agreement will be reached at the end of 2019 on the security and passport inspections. Click here for more information.
In 2019 there will be 4G coverage at the tube stations as well as in the tunnels! At the moment the connection is gone as soon as the tube leaves, but that will be solved in 2019. Click here for more information.
